The Prineville Police Department is a state-accredited agency that meets the highest standards for excellence in law enforcement. Members of the Prineville Police Department will support our Vision, Mission, Core Values, and uphold our Criminal Justice Code of Ethics both internally and externally always supporting Police Legitimacy through Procedural Justice. Procedural Justice is based on four basic concepts; Treat all people with dignity and respect, giving people 'voice' during encounters, being neutral and transparent in decision making, and conveying trustworthy motives.

Our vision is to greatly diminish crime, and the fear of criminal activity, through collaboration, persistence and innovation.
